In December 2023, Turkey exported $20.7 billion and imported $27.3 billion, resulting in a negative trade balance of $6.62 billion

Between December 2022 and December 2023, Turkey’s exports decreased by -$97.4 million (-0.47%) from $20.8 billion to $20.7 billion

while imports decreased by -$3.43 billion (-11.2%) from $30.7 billion to $27.3 billion.

($2.86 billion), machinery, mechanical devices and spare parts ($1.9 billion), precious stones, metals and pearls ($1.23 billion)

In December 2023 Turkey’s most important imports were mineral fuels, mineral oils and products ($6.06 billion)

machinery, mechanical devices and spare parts ($3.33 billion), cars, tractors, trucks and their parts

($3.13 billion), electrical and electronic machinery ($2.02 billion), and precious stones, metals and pearls ($1.89 billion).
